Terms of Use

The agreement between you and Energy Path for using energy-path.
1. Acceptance of these terms
energy-path is an educational platform for learning solar photovoltaic (PV) system design, operated by Energy Path ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use energy-path.
2. Eligibility and age
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are under 16, you may only use energy-path with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian. By using the site you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are allowed to use the site under the laws that apply to you.
3. The service
energy-path is provided for education and general learning. We may add, change, suspend, or remove features, lessons, or the service itself at any time, and we may set or change limits on use to keep the service running well for everyone.
Access to energy-path, or to particular features, lessons, or certificates, may require payment. Where a charge applies, we will show the price and what it covers before you pay. Prices, plans, and what is included may change over time; any change applies going forward and not to access you have already paid for.
4. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens under your account. Provide accurate information when you register, keep it up to date, and do not share your account or let anyone else use it. One person per account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
5. Acceptable use
When you use energy-path you must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. In short: use the site lawfully, do not disrupt it or other users, and do not try to copy, scrape, or attack it.
6. Certificates
When you complete the course and pass the final exam, energy-path issues a certificate of completion with a unique ID that anyone can verify. A certificate shows that you finished our course. It is not an accredited qualification, a professional licence, or an endorsement by any authority. See the Disclaimer for details.
7. Intellectual property
The energy-path platform itself - its software, design, our certificate and certification system, the selection, arrangement, and presentation of the course, the energy-path name and logo, and any original materials we create - belongs to Energy Path, and we reserve all rights in it. The underlying educational content is gathered from publicly available sources, and we do not claim ownership of that material; rights in it remain with their respective owners. Please use the platform for your own personal, non-commercial learning. See the Intellectual Property and Copyright page for details and to report infringement.
8. Disclaimers
energy-path and all of its content are provided "as is" and "as available", for educational purposes only, and without warranties of any kind. The content is not professional engineering, electrical, financial, or safety advice. Always consult a qualified, licensed professional before making real-world decisions. Please read the Disclaimer in full.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Energy Path and the people who work on it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or its content. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the law that applies to you.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend, restrict, block, or remove your account if you break these terms, misuse the service, or where we are required to by law. You may stop using energy-path and ask us to delete your account at any time (see Data and Compliance).
11. Worldwide use and governing law
energy-path is offered worldwide, and you are responsible for following the laws that apply where you live and use it. These terms are governed by the laws of Palestine, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not take away any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your own country, which continue to apply to you.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date shown at the top. If you keep using energy-path after an update, that means you accept the updated terms.
